On site you can buy local products: honey, olive oil and the herbal liqueur of the Mariola.
If you would rather not cook, you can order paella from nearby restaurants. They cook it and bring it here. Let us know in advance and we will help arrange it.

Hiking trails
Routes start from the village itself towards Montcabrer, Font Jordana and the park's waymarked paths.
Nearby villages
Bocairent and its medieval quarter, Agres, Cocentaina and Banyeres de Mariola, all under half an hour away.
Hermitages and heritage
The Mare de Déu del Castell sanctuary in Agres, rural hermitages and old water mills.
Snow wells
Historic stone wells in the mountains where snow was stored long before refrigeration.
Springs and picnic areas
Natural springs scattered across the range, perfect for a mid-walk stop.
Typical food of the area
This is stew and casserole country: olleta de blat, salt cod borreta, pericana with dried pepper and cod, local cured sausages and oven-baked rice. For dessert, almond pastries and Mariola honey, finished with a glass of herbero, the local herb liqueur.

Location
We are in Alfafara (Alicante), minutes from the village and right by the entrance to the Serra de Mariola.
How to get here
From the A-7 or the N-340, take the Alfafara exit and follow signs to the village. The final stretch is a well-kept track suitable for campers. If you have any doubts about the last part, call us and we will guide you.
About the farm
It is a family farm, real countryside: olive and almond trees, dry-stone walls and a lot of quiet. Around it lies the Serra de Mariola, one of the richest places for aromatic plants in the Mediterranean. We are not a resort and do not want to be: people come here to stop, walk and sleep under the stars.
